Free Mid Century Chair (and sofa)

This chair is by no means amazing. But it is free. And I do love the profile, the wooden arms, and the wicker, which combine to give the chair a very mid century look.

Clearly needs to be reupholstered, but looks good otherwise. Can't beat the price!

Free coffee table

Coffee table - FREE (Annandale)

This listing, under "free stuff", is for a teak-colored wood coffee table. This is a fairly common style and is often used, successfully, in danish modern and/or mid century living rooms. Unbeatable price and appears to be in good condition... won't be around long.

Beautifully ugly - and FREE

CIRCA 1960 STYLE WALNUT COUCH (CENTREVILLE)

Probably the ugliest upholstery I have seen in my life.  However, this couch has a cool, lounge style and has a lot of potential - I love the legs and the wood detail on the arms, and if it is walnut as the owner says, it is likely still sturdy and easily refinished (if necessary).

Given that the couch is FREE, you could easily invest a few hundred bucks in getting it reupholstered in whatever color you choose.  Or just ditch the back cushions.

Get it while it's hot! If you don't - I might.

Chest of drawers - $5 (Alexandria)

It's hard to tell much from the picture, but this is a great deal and a nice looking piece of seemingly solid wood furniture.  If the top is laminate, veneer, or anything other than solid wood, it's probably not worth the trouble. But for $5, can you really go wrong? That is, as long as you're willing to trek through the jungle...

Definitely worth a look if you're in the market for a dresser. Comes with a mirror too!

Dining Table (Silver Spring)

This free farmhouse-style table will not last long, so act fast!  I know... we gave away a table last weekend and it was gone in minutes.

You can't tell much from this picture, but this is clearly old construction and solid wood, meaning easy refinishing potential. The finish also looks good enough to be ready to go with a great rustic look.

And you simply can't beat this price. Take it home!
