PRICE DROP - American / Danish Modern Teak Bed Frame - $45!!
Retro Modern Vintage Scan Type Twin headboard and footboard - $45 (Chantilly)
This listing is for a mid century modern twin-sized headboard and footboard. This is a simple but beautiful design that is unique relative to other modern and mid century beds. The first time I saw this listing I passed it by because the style seemed too "arts and crafts" for my taste. But on second look, the design feels more like a mix of American modern and Danish modern from the 1960s, and I actually think this is a great looking bed frame. The seller states that the piece is made of solid teak, and this appears to be the case based on the photos. It is missing the bed rails, but these are easily and cheaply replaceable. If you are looking for a twin bed frame, this could be a great option at a reasonable price of $85.

Danish modern (?) bookcase - $50
Giant Book Case - $50 (Columbia Heights)
Worth a look? Clearly, this picture is terrible. Unfortunately, so is the description... i.e. "I have this big book case thing for sell". However, the style appears to be Danish modern and the design is fairly interesting. Definitely more interesting than your run of the mill bookcase. I'd guess that the compartment on the right center folds down into a secretary desk, and that the bottom has drawers on the left and a cabinet on the right.... but that is just a guess. If this isn't too far out of your way and is something you might be interested in, it is definitely worth a look. I'll bet the seller would take $30-40 for it - he/she seems anxious to get it off his/her hands.

Danish Modern Wall Unit - $100
Vintage 70s Retro Entertainment Center - $100 (Vienna)
This listing is for a large, three piece Danish modern style wall unit. There is no information given about the manufacturer or actual age of the piece although the listing implies that it is from the 1970s. There is not a whole lot to say about this piece other than that it seems to be a great deal. Wall units like this are very functional and they seem to hold their value well. Just look around on Etsy, eBay and Craig's List and you will see that these generally sell for quite a bit more. This is not the finest example of a Danish modern wall unit (although it is a bit hard to tell from the photo), but it doesn't look too bad either. The wood appears to be teak or teak veneer. The seller states that there is some water damage to the bottom of the piece, but that it is structurally sound and fully functional. A great piece for your home office, library or even living room that combines storage with display space. I doubt it will last the weekend, so if you are interested, be sure to act quickly!

Danish modern dresser and nightstand - $200 (And several other Danish modern pieces!)

Walnut Dresser and Nightstand Set - $200 (McLean)
Here is a listing for a large Danish modern dresser and nightstand set. Although the seller states that these are walnut, they appear to be teak veneer, as common for Danish modern furniture from the 60s and later. In the pictures the condition looks quite good although it is a bit hard to tell.
In any case, this is a great deal at $200 for the pair "or best offer". The seller also states that he/she has a number of other items available, so if you are heading over there there may be more similar pieces to check out.
Furniture like this is very collectible right now, and this set could easily sell for $400-600. These will be gone very soon so don't wait. If you contact the seller first, offer $150 cash and say you'll get them out today - they're probably yours.
UPDATE: As a matter of fact - you don't even need to go there to see the rest of what this seller has to offer... see the links below - lots of great deals! You could furnish nearly your entire home with Danish modern furniture for under $1000. The more you buy, the easier it is to make a deal.
Danish modern record cabinet / media credenza - $120
Danish modern teak desk - $200
Mid-century solid wood sideboard - $200
Danish modern teak dining table with extensions - $150
Danish modern teak dining chairs (set of 6) - $100
and more....

Jens Risom Danish modern dining table - $350

Jens Risom vintage modern dining table - $350 (NW DC)
This listing is for a beautiful mid century modern dining table designed by the famous Danish-American designer and architect Jens Risom (visit risom.org to learn all about him) at a fantastic price. Many of Risom's design works are considered classic examples of the period and were influential to the design of the time.
This table is one of his classic designs and appears in his 1949 catalog on the risom.org website (see image at bottom, or this link). The version in the catalog is smaller in size; the one for sale today may be a later permutation of the same design or a size variation from the same date.
In any case, you simply can not find a table of this quality anywhere for $350, and certainly not one that will hold its value so well. This is a beautiful and functional piece. The design is simple, clean, and practical - it has plenty of leg space, and is expandable / collapsible to fit your space or dinner crowd. According to the seller's description, the table is in good condition with some wear. Knowing the seller, Brandon of Cantilever Modern, I am sure that the piece is in very good overall condition. The bottom line is that if I had not just finished restoring my Heywood Wakefield wishbone table, I would be buying this table. If you need one, you should too.

Danish Modern Sofa

Mid-Century Danish Modern Sofa - $175 (Dupont Circle)
This listing is for a clean and simple mid century Danish modern style sofa. The sofa features dark, walnut colored wood with a simple construction and six black vinyl (?) cushions. This piece has many mid century Danish modern design qualities including the tapered legs, strong horizontal lines, low profile, and an overall simple/unadorned appearance.
I'm not wild about these cushions (too thin and seem a little small for the sofa), but they would be easy to replace and would make this a much more attractive sofa. The price is ideal - $175 is pretty much unbeatable, and the seller is willing to take offers. If you are in the market for a mid century sofa, this is a great opportunity.

Mid Century Modern Vase

Mid Century / Modern / Vintage Vase / Pitcher - $20 (Centreville)
This listing is for a very modern and very mid century turquoise pottery pitcher / vase with a faux wood handle. It has a very simple and stylish design and would make a great compliment to your mid century living room furniture, kitchen, etc. The design looks very Scandinavian / Danish to me. Overall a great piece at a great price - you could not find a new vase like this for anything approaching $20.

Nice Orange Danish Modern Lounge Chair

Vintage Orange Eames Era Mid Century Modern Chair - $125 (Silver Spring)
Here is a listing for a Danish modern style fabric and wood chair. The chair has a nice lounge style with a great vintage orange fabric. It is unclear who the chair's manufacturer is, but it appears to be in good condition, with the exception of fabric fraying on the arms as indicated by the seller.
Overall a nice mid century chair at a reasonable price.

Danish Modern Coffee Table

Vintage Teak Coffee Table - $75 (Fairfax Circle)
This listing is for a Danish modern style teak coffee table. This is a common coffee table design from this period, with a long, low profile, tapered legs, and a "lower level" truss.
The picture and description of this item leave a lot of questions, but a quick email to the seller will surely get an answer. The price seems reasonable but that is completely dependent upon the quality of the piece and the condition, which are not readily visible.
Note that the seller is willing to take offers. Possibly a good find for those of you looking to add to your Danish modern decor.

Danish Modern Credenza + Hutch

Scan Style Teak Furniture - Hutch and Drawers - $155 (Annandale)
I am a bit behind on posts this week so I will try to keep the next several descriptions very brief... This listing is for a Danish modern credenza with resting shelves that can be configured in a variety of ways. This piece appears to be newer (late 70s or newer possibly), but still embodies many elements of vintage Danish modern pieces. Not the most beautiful piece of furniture, but certainly nice, functional, and available at a great price.

Sun Room Sofa

1960s Florida Sun Room Sofa Excellent Condition - $70 (Alexandria)
This listing is for a simple, mid century sofa in what looks like its original upholstery in good condition (vinyl maybe?). It has a classic, long, low horizontal build that is very modern, and appears to have a metal frame (which the seller states is "totally structurally sound") and possibly wooden arms. The fabric gives a nice warm touch of color without being too loud or too subdued.
This is a nice piece that would look great in a sun room, or even living room or den. It is only $70 - what else can I say!

Beautiful Danish modern china cabinet

This listing is for a beautiful and classic Danish modern china cabinet from the 1960s. The cabinet speaks for itself. It appears to be two separate pieces: a credenza / buffet / sideboard, and a resting china hutch. This piece has the beautiful orange wood hue that is common in pieces of this style and period, and a clean facade with no adornment and simple lines.
This is a great piece of furniture, and appears to be in solid condition. Offered at $500, but surely there is some wiggle room there...
